A happy retail retirement.

 

The Garden Apothecary retail shop and nursery is now closed. We have happily let go of our outdoor lease (with it's ever rising rent), but are keeping the studio space inside which will exclusively be used for making our products and fulfilling online shopping. 

 

Please read the FAQ's below for more information.

 

Will you still offer workshops or occasional shopping? Nope, that 13 year time period is complete. 

Can I still select Local Pickup so I don't have to pay for shipping? No, we no longer offer local pickup. 

I have a Garden Apothecary gift card for online and/or in person, can this still be redeemed? Yes - you can redeem your gift cards for items that are sold online, simply shoot us an email for us to verify. 

Why is the company closing? Garden Apothecary is not closing, it is pivoting into an easier and more profitable business model. Plus, the by-product is that Jenn gets to focus on other aspects of her well-being and botany work. 

What about your employees? Our beloved employees have known about this change for over a year. I am very transparent about all business decisions. Erica will continue to help me with making skincare products. The Ag Girls will now be seasonally employed by our 501c3 AG GIRLS program (woohoo!), working on the farm and making botanicals products. Ashley is back in college fulfilling her dream of working with animals as a vet tech. All of my subcontractors for Wildflower Farms are working as usual based on our landscaping project needs. 

Why wasn't there a sale? Because we didn't need to have one. We work hard at operating with just the right amount of stock that often sells out. The extra plants that we had have been generously donated to the HMBHS AG Department. 

What stays the same? LOL - almost everything, except shopping in person. Wildflower Farms landscaping and farming remains the same. AG GIRLS 501c3 is progressing with a fabulous local Board of Directors. Garden Apothecary is celebrating 13 years of offering organic, handmade skincare, teas and fine garden goods - exclusively online.
