Farm Workshop #001 - Herbs for Digestion and Wellness
I am pleased to announce my very first workshop, hosted at the farm!
For the past 18 years (started at 16 years old!) I have been dry-farming and care-taking a small plot of earth, just under 5 acres. Recessed in the idyllic coastal canyons south of Half Moon Bay, this gorgeous bit of land has been very special to me. I have diligently worked on the land to raise organic lavender, saffron, roses, and other medicinal herbs, while purposely letting nature take over in some areas to promote wildlife and a thriving ecosystem. With a view of the ocean and backdrop of the mountains, this piece of land is a haven for nature lovers.
In this workshop, we will be harvesting organic herbs and learning about our plant friends, as it relates to wellness (and beyond). Snacks will be provided, as well as an in-depth herbal tea tasting. We will be exploring "bitters" and how certain flowers and herbs aid us in healthy digestion and overall wellness. Outside of lecture and tasting, you will get a sacred space to wander and harvest some of your own herbs, to craft a tonic dedicated to promote individual wellness. I hope to see you there.
Join us in learning about medicinal herbs and visit this special place.
