Higher Ground: Facial Serum

Hydrating botanicals - for an inner and outer glow. Our proprietary elixir, formulated by our in-house botanist, offers ultimate nourishment with everyday use.

With rich phytonutrients, powerful antioxidants, and replenishing peptides, this hydrating serum is dense with healing botanicals, straight from the earth.

"The texture is perfection, and it’s my favorite hydrating serum for my face and neck.”

- Elizabeth Chambers, via The Cut

Place a small, delicate droplet on each fingertip, and dab lightly onto the face, focusing on cheeks, forehead, and areas needing moisture. Blend gently with fingertips across entire face, using caution around the eyes and neck. Allow to soak in until skin feels relatively dry to the touch before applying sunscreen or other products.

What To Expect

This serum is nutrient-rich, soaking easily into the skin and hydrating, balancing, and protecting all at once. After application, skin is left with a soft, dewy radiance. This can be reapplied throughout the day to restore your glow and protect from dehydration, with sunscreen added on top. Be sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day and before bed.

How We Use It

To complete the trifecta and find your glow: apply following cleansing with our Spun Gold cleanser and misting with Full Bloom Fog. Spend some time and ponder how you got to be so gorgeous. As Grandma Lee would say, “It’s the affliction!”

Sesame Seed Oil (Sesamum indicum) - Full of vitamins E, D and B complex, Sesame seed oil has earned the title of “Queen of Oils.” While helping off set free radicals, this oil gently detoxifies the skin.

Grapeseed Oil (Vitnus vinifera) - A powerful base oil, high in anti-oxidant properties and rich in skin-brightening vitamin C.

*Rosehip Seed Oil (Rosa spp) - A “dry oil” that easily seeps into the skin, this hydrating oil is packed with fatty acids that slow moisture loss and smooth rough skin. With high availability of vitamin A, this oil offers scar reducing effects, restores skin elasticity after surgery, and reduces scar hyper pigmentation or damage from UV exposure.

Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis) - With advanced molecular stability, Jojoba oil is a go-to for all skin types. Great cleansing qualities and ease of use.

*Borage Seed Oil (Borago officinalis) - Prized for it’s abundance in nutrients and γ-linolenic acid, Borage oil is an unsung hero in the cosmetic world.

Cacao oil (Theobroma cacao) - Our obsession - and reason for Jenn’s countless botany research trips to Belize. Cacao oil is exceptional for the skin and hair, providing natural anti-oxidants, vitamins and minerals. This thick oil is well known as a beneficial anti-inflammatory for the skin, with luxurious aromatherapy qualities.

Rose, Bulgarian Essential Oil (Rosa damascena) - A scent that evokes deep love and sensuality, Rose essential oil adds various therapeutic components when applied topically or inhaled. Traditionally, this oil aids in improved skin permeability, allowing better absorption of vitamins and nutrients.

Avocado Oil (Persea americana) - Rich in vitamin D, lecithin and potassium, this oil is soothing and gentle for all skin types. Known for helping relieve dry and itchy skin.

Hazelnut Oil (Corylus avellana) - A wonderful astringent oil, Hazelnut absorbs quickly and does not leave an unpleasant residue. An excellent cleansing agent for the face and neck.

*Saffron (Crocus sativus) - The world’s most expensive botanical, Saffron is traditionally known for it’s circulatory and anti-oxidant properties, allowing skin to restore back to it’s natural glow, including evening skin tone and brightness.

Vitamin E - A natural preservative.

*Dry-farmed by our sister company, Wildflower Farms, minutes from where we make our products, in Half Moon Bay, CA.
